ORDERING POLICY
Payments/Deposits
To secure your booking with Rosie's Cakes, I require a non-refundable booking deposit of 25% for celebration cakes and £150 non-refundable deposit for wedding cake orders.

For Wedding Orders, the balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the date of delivery. For other celebration cakes a week before delivery/collection.

Payment of your booking deposit confirms your agreement with our Terms and Conditions.
Design
1 week before your delivery is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges. Changes in design or size will not result in lowering your final invoice from the quote accepted at time of booking. Please ensue you read through the correspondence which details the agreed design chosen as this is what is used when creating your cake. If you find an error with your design you must notify me before final payment is made so that I can make the appropriate changes needed.

Cake design is a creative and organic process. I will endeavour to replicate and create your selected design as closely as possible. As the cake designer, I reserve the right to make last-minute changes to the cake design, if I feel appropriate to achieve the best cake for your occasion.
Cancellation/
Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing. If for any reason you have to cancel your booking, the booking deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations of wedding orders, with less than 4 weeks’ notice, the full payment (including the booking deposit) is non-refundable. For cancellations of celebrations cakes and all other orders, with less than 1 weeks’ notice, the full payment (including booking deposit) is non-refundable.

If you wish to postpone your wedding booking date for any reason, you must request this by email, and I will check my availability. A £25 postponement admin fee would apply. All deposit payments would then be transferred to the new date and any items listed in the invoice, provided they are available.
In the event that Rosie's Cakes are not available for the postponed Wedding/Event date, my cancellation policy (above) remains.

Postponements are available up until 4 weeks before the scheduled event date, after this, dates are non-transferable and final balances for the original dates are payable. I therefore strongly recommend you take out wedding insurance to cover your date.
Allergies
I cannot guarantee that any of my products do not contain any substance that may cause some form of allergic reaction. You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from exposure to anything which might cause an allergic reaction. This may include, but without limitation, nuts, nut products, alcohol, dairy, wheat, sulphates or colouring.
You should also note that some decorations are not edible (fresh flowers, wires, ribbons, pins, jewels, boards, etc). You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage, illness or injury arising from any such exposure.

My products contain gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs and may contain traces of nuts unless otherwise stated.
We are willing to accommodate for certain allergies however, please consider this is a working kitchen full of a wide range of ingredients. I will use the correct ingredients for your allergy but I cannot guarantee it will be free from that particular requirement due to the kitchen it is baked in. I accept no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our cakes.
The following ingredients are used in my standard cakes and cupcakes:
Self Raising Flour, Butter, Caster Sugar, Eggs, Milk, Flavourings (if requested), Icing Sugar, Cream, and White Chocolate that may contain traces of nuts.
